What is Furioke?

Furioke is a karaoke and study app for Japanese and Korean songs. Lyrics scroll in time with the music, with furigana above every kanji — plus rōmaji readings, a line-by-line translation, and flashcards built from the words you tap. Tap any word to see how it’s used, with example sentences and grammar notes.

How does furigana work?

Furigana appear on their own — there is nothing to generate. If a reading is wrong, tap the word, correct it, and turn on “Apply to all songs” so it sticks everywhere. Korean lyrics have no furigana, so they get a romaja reading line instead.

Do I need an account?

You can try Furioke without one: connect Spotify, Apple Music, or YouTube and the lyrics for whatever is playing appear with furigana. Signing in with Google or Apple unlocks the rest — a saved library, your own lyrics, translation, and flashcards, synced across your devices.

How does translation work?

Turn on “Show translation” in the More actions menu and each line is translated beneath the lyrics. Translation always goes into your native language, which you pick in Settings, so the option is hidden when a song is already in that language.
